Redwood RD to Alhambra Valley RD Yearly Drive 07/09/2017
Sup s2ki,
This is just an updated thread of my previous that was dated. The idea was to make this drive
at least a yearly thing so I didn't want to confuse people with the date in the title.
The date for this upcoming drive is 7/9/2017
Well meet up at 2pm at Sparky Giant Burgers:
4120 Redwood Rd, Oakland, CA 94619
Head out in about how 30 minutes from then and start making our way toward Redwood RD.
We will take it all the way to Grizzly Peak peak and turn on Fish Ranch RD. From there we will hop on the freeway and get off in Orinda.
From Orinda we will take Bear Creek Rd through Alhambra Valley Rd and end in Concord Quickly for some cool drinks.
Hope to see you guys

I think your route still goes right through the closed off section. Also my June 30th date might only be for Palomares and not Redwood.

Redwood Road, Castro Valley, is CLOSED to all traffic at marker 7.38 until further notice due to roadway failure. This closure blocks all access between Castro Valley and Oakland. Guests accessing the East Bay Regional Park District’s Anthony Chabot campground facilities need to enter from the Oakland side of Redwood Road.
Palomares Road, Castro Valley, is CLOSED to thru traffic, between Palo Verde Road, Castro Valley, and Niles Canyon Road, Fremont. The road is impassable at mile marker 8.7 while contractors remove hazards including loose dirt, rocks and debris from the hillside. Once the debris has been removed, contractors will install safety measures to stabilize the hillside to prevent further movement. This closure is expected to last through June 30, 2017.

Alright, here is the updated route. For the most part it will be the same route except the starting point will be at the parking lot Sparkys Giant Burgers in Oakland.
We are still meeting up at 2 pm and will wait around for about 30 minutes before we head out. The Safeway in Orinda will be our breaking point before driving the rest of the route.
I can wait to see you guys there
