Default Some minor-moderate front end damage; recommended body shops

Full coverage; so would like your suggestions to compile with my current listing/findings.

It appears I need hood, bumper, front right fender, possibly radiator support and other bits. If possible would like to work more money off the insurance payout

Any recommendations and why would be great. Bay Area/East Bay

Thanks

Ask for Khoa, they recently did my rear bumper and paint match was perfect. Insurance wanted remanufactured/ non-oem, but he still chose to order OEM replacement parts. Let him know that Edson with the blue S2K recommended you.

Active Auto Body know S2000s and I used them to fix what another body shop couldn't get right after my accident 7-8 years ago. Anyone can paint match, what matters is someone who understands the importance of the frame, subframe and suspension components being spot-on for this car.

Thanks. I live in Livermore so Sunnyvale is not really an option.

I lived an hour from Sunnyvale when I took my car there. Sometimes the right shop is worth driving for.

Competent, CONSISTENT, high quality shops in the service industry, esp bodyshops, are difficult to find. Do it right and do it once, or pay even more fixing things later.

I've brought some of my cars all the way down to SoCal for work, incl body/paint work over the years. I'm considering doing that again for my s2k because some of the ones I used to frequent have gotten sloppy & complacent.

I am 1.5 hours from Almaden collision. But I'd rather make the drive then go some where local and be unhappy with the work. Most body shops care about the quick insurance jobs and rarely on the finish or quality of their work. If you talk to Phil and explain what you want he will surpass any expectation. I have OCD and I'm very particular about my paint and having a black car doesn't help. But he did an amazing job on the repairs done to our S2k and the paint looks flawless. He isn't the cheapest but I'd rather pay once and have it done correctly then pay multiple times.
