Your price range may be very low. Good luck though. I'd budget a minimum of $20K for that mileage range, maybe $22K since you want all 10 VIN tags in place. Or more if 30K miles are the target.

But, what do you plan to do with the (or to) the car? If you're going to replace the wheels, fit a new suspension, and maybe supercharge the car you don't need 10 VIN tags in place.

Also note there are two different generations of our cars. Pre-2004 and 2004 and later; commonly called AP1 and AP2 based on their engine codes. 2006 cars gain drive-by-wire and can be FlashPro tuned without an aftermarket ECU.

Read a bunch and make a priority list. Stuff on top is mandatory; stuff toward the bottom is nice-to-have.

Just going to throw it out there. I got my 2005 AP2 with 69,7XX miles on it for 18.5 so after taxes it was around 23 and change. It was the BEST deal at that time and I drove down to SoCal to get it. When I drove it back up it dinged to 70k. Every once in awhile there are some good deals, but I'm always iffy on low prices with ANY car if it's low mileage. If you're willing to wait, eventually one will pop up, but prices like that are hard to come by.

^^ Thanks for the tips guys. . This car will be a semi daily car but not long distances. Mods I expect to do are suspension and wheels and maybe a hardtop. I am still on the look out and will entertain well maintained high mileage cars.

Yup, I just picked up an o6 with 41k miles for 21.5k. I drove all the way to Anaheim for it... And trailered it back. I was looking for a solid 4 months I'd say, untill one that I really liked popped up. Good luck with your search. I've seen a few on the s2k group on Facebook go in that price range your looking, might be worth a shot.
