Hello everyone,

I have some interesting but sort of last minute news:
I have been working with Sonoma Raceway for the last few months. They are looking for a few of us to help support Honda's entry into IndyCar at the grand finale race this year at Sonoma Raceway on August 30th! You will be offered tickets at a discounted rate if you are part of the local S2000 groups (S2ki, NorcalS2k, Sk2CA etc) and show up in your S2000 at the gates. They have provided a special area for for us fellow S2k owners to park! I will be at the event in a certain capacity on August 30th. I hope I see some of you there!

So I work and travel with the Indy car series and I will be there with my s2k. I'm not sure where you guys will be parking but I will be in the media parking lot.

I think the flyer mentioned Turn 2. The turn with the best view of the track.

Will do I will be there on Thursday to scout the track for work. I need to find out more info about where we can park and what's going on with tickets. I have an annual credential I know the flyer says you need to get a ticket thru them.

The event is being held hosted by the organizers at Sonoma Raceway. They have reserved some parking for the S2000's that wish to attend. I can contact them if you have any further questions. Just PM me.

Jeremy, you guys have fun on Sunday. If you decide to take the "fun" route to the track (and you should), maybe I'll see you on 128/121. I usually leave Winters at 8:00 AM enroute to Napa for my canyon fix.

I might take the *fun* route on the way back. But I am currently leading a 'second group' to the track early. Taking the fun route would mean we would have to leave at some hour that might cause my group to mutiny and inflict bodily harm to me!

and Thanks Ron! I hope it proves to be a great time in-spite of a recent terrible tragedy in IndyCar. RIP Justin Wilson.
