Looking for a good S2K mechanic near Nevada City CA
Hi Y'all,
Brand new AP2 owner (2007, completely stock) in Nevada City. Looking for recommendations on great S2K mechanics in Grass Valley, Auburn, Roseville, and/or Yuba City. First project would be mounting a Curt trailer hitch so I can carry my bikes. Second (likely) project is replacing the stock speakers and aftermarket head unit to improve the audio.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations...

For a mechanic I would recommend Driving Ambition in Rancho Cordova. They specialize in NSX/S2000s. Not always there as they race a lot. Don't think they really do stereo stuff.
Mine is an 09 stock car. I added some sound deadening and NVH insulation (3M) and it made a huge difference in the sound of the stock system. I changed out the HU (Sony from Crutchfields) and it really made it sound great. So much so I am not going to bother with new speakers.
Might want to check threads for hitch install. I have not done that but others have gone before us with that DIY.
I use a modified (added wood slats) to a Surco trunk rack that is easy on and off. No bikes but good for overflow/camping.

Id agree with Driving Ambition. Shad is hands down the absolute best you will find in all of norcali, he does tend to work princess hours and is very hard to reach, but very well worth it.
