Walked by this S2K and the nose was a very strange color - different from the rest of the car. It looked like abalone shell. Took my polarized sunglasses off and it was the same color as the rest of the car. Cool! I shot this photo through the lense of my sunglasses.
That's my friend's buddy, Wade. He just recently put on a clear bra which made the reflection look like abalone.
That's cool that you got a shot of it though. One wouldn't be able to see that "abalone" unless polarized lens' are worn.

yea idk about that...but no i am not leaving it on there i just placed it there and hand tight just for pictures..but if anyones how to leave it on there and it being safe..please let us all know!...any paint shop guys out there, anything to protect the sig. from the heat??

That IS actually totally doable...nonstop except for gas...two people. I made it to Millville, NJ from Lompoc, CA in three days with my friend, Todd.
He had just got out of the Air Force and wanted to do the Coast to Coast road trip.

I just clear coated the signatures I have on my valve cover and it's been fine.
