Default For the 100th time... IT's RAINING MANANA!
What does this mean?. Leave the car in the garage, and drive a BEATER. If you don't have a beater, DRIVE CARFULLY. Do granny left/right turns. If you drive faster than 55 in the rain, don't cry here.

this 2 mile local commute won't even let me get close to 55

Can someone please point me to a road in So. Cal where traffic is moving FASTER than 55mph in the rain?

no beater here...I spun out 180 in our work parking lot...on purpose of course. Those tires sure come loose in the rain like no other.

Law #239 in LA traffic: It's usually going in the opposite direction while your windshield gets splashed from the other side.
