1300 paint job for fender?
My friend owns a white 2007 Acura TSX and there's a fender bender on the fender. He was quoted 1600 for replacement of the fender and the paint job. I looked up the fender and it cost 211+shipping. So that leaves about 1300 for paint job and does that sound anywhere close to where it should be? Does anyone know where I can go to get a paint job that does not cost 1300? Thanks

maybe they are adding up the fender plus all the hardware and stuff under the fender.
$1300 for paint on 1 removable body panel is just stupid. i dont think even chip foose would charge that much

1000 is not high for a high end finish, you can paint a car with 1600 dollar or you can do it with 60 dollar, it's about what type of result you are willing to pay.
quality clear coat is expensive
quality pearl is expensive
quality prep is expensive
quality painter is expensive
any monkey can shoot a SS solid color but it takes some experience to match metallic/flakes/mica/pearls on a used car. I shot my share of paint job and it's always challenging to match the flow.
