more contact patch up front .....
so the difference between the fronts and back is a bit smaller ....

Why Kumho?
I think TireRack still got the RE050A closeout sale ... i had mine shipped for 466.

the new tires are going to be a little taller but thats not a real big deal...a lot of people run those those tire sizes and so far i havent heard any complaints...IMO the Kumho MX has some of the best bang for buck....

:iagree: If you can still get the RE050s for that price, they're a lot better tire. I had Kumhos on my Prelude before I got the S and they barely lasted 8,000 miles. Granted I drove the car pretty hrad, but those tires don't last very long!!

Any more input on switching tire size? I

upgrade to the wider tires. you can carry much greater turn in speed. only problem is that you might rub if you are agressively lowered. and go for the re050a. great price, and much harder sidewalls than the ecsta mx, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on your perogative.

I am gonna go with the same tire sizes but I'm gonna pick up the Falken RT-615. :D

i got the wider sizes, rt615, and like everything, but the look of the wheels. they look smaller since the sidewalls are thicker

Well I decided im gonna go with the RE050A. Im gonna have to go with the bigger sizes, since its the only size available for OEM wheels. Might as well try it out once. But im looking forward to see how the size difference will affect the performance. Ill be running these at willow springs next month. Lets see how they do.
