Any one in Irvine-ish area have a code scanner?
Coming home from my gf's house this morning and the CEL starting flashing and car was very unhappy. Lots of shaking, rough idle, loss of power. Off the top of the my head i'd have to say there's a misfire, but don't know for sure.
I drove it lightly and got it home, parked in the garage now. I'm hoping someone around here has a scanner i can borrow for a day or so to check what code it's throwing. I've got my bike too so i can come pick up / return without any trouble.
I live/work around the irvine spectrum area.

Sounds like when I had an ignition coil go bad.
It was caused by the person who did my valve adjustment and placed a spark plug grommet upside down, causing it to tear over time, and leak oil onto the coil which caused it's failure. lol
