I had to call 911 on a driver on the fwy tonight. We were in a situation where he/she probably took down my plate # in case and since I did end up calling 911..... I just want to be able to have their info in case they are able to access mine.

SooOoOo.. Any help would be appreciated. All I can find online are shady sites that are asking for money and Im not sure it would yield results. I dont mind paying if Im guaranteed results though.

Theres a few law enforcement agents on the board that would be the easiest way, unless the person has confidential plates.

Oh, I think I was being overly paranoid and after a couple hours to think - decided it really isnt that big of a deal. I already reported him/her to 911 so I should be good....

But what is a confidential plate? So curious....

Confidential plates have their information blocked for viewing for safety reasons in the event of retaliation. Usually law enforcement agents, federal agents, diplomats have confidential plates. For example...my friends dad works for the FBI and has all of his family's cars plates restricted.

Haha..2.5 years later I'm still rocking the "HONDA WORLD" dealer plates

im just curious, when u call 911 on the freeway or something for things like drunk driving, do these cops really track down the plate numbers and investigate or just ok we'll send someone and no show?

They generally dispatch the nearest chp. From what I've heard from folks who have called in situations, cops show in a matter of mins.
