Anyone use Walker Detail in Beverly Hills?
I just picked up an ad in the beverly center for walker detail.
It's $150 for a full detail of a car. They claim to put 8 coats of different waxes on the car. Anybody use them? Is it a good price?

The price sounds about right and if it's in Beverly Hills, I'd venture to guess that they probably detail a hell of alot nicer cars than S2000's. Just my opinion, I could be wrong....

I'm pretty sure those are the detail guys in the bottom of the parking garages at the beverly center and century city mall.
They friggin suck! I took my car to them for a regular wash (before I shelled out for a detail), while I went to see a movie. I asked if they used sponges or hoses, and if they used hoses told them I could remove the boot and put the top back up. "We use sponges, leave it down" they said.
Well, either they used the biggest damn sponges I've ever heard of or they used a hose and tried to keep it away from the inside, cuz everthing was wet. (not soping wet, granted, but wet nonetheless). Not only that but they didn't dry the car well, there were waterspots on the hood and the windows. When I opened the trunk a small river poured out. Also, when I got home I realized they didn't dry around the gascap either as there was a nice wet streak leading out of it down the side of the car.
It looked like they gave the interior a once over with a damp rag, but didn't vacum at all.
On a scale of 1 to 5 these guys were a 0.
(maybe my experience was a freak occurance... I dunno, but lemme know if you have a better one. I like the idea of getting a car wash while I shop)
