Default Autox on January 13

Anyone going to be at California Speedway in a week and a half? I'm thinking of showing up for my first autox and trying out all my new stuff.

By the way, for anyone who knows anything about the event... I've heard they have a noise restriction for cars. Am I going to get bounced for my exhaust setup?

January 13 - You got accepted to a Practice Day?

Noise restriction is at 95 dBA. Your Invidia + test pipe might be over that...

Practice day is better, you get to run more.

I think to get accepted you need to be a member of Solo II, You don;t have to but you are more likely to be accepted.

do they all have noise restrictions or is it just the speedway event?

i know the invidia clocks in at about 120db at WOT.

i wanted to go, but i will definetly breach the sound level.

All CSCC events at Cal Speedway have 95dBA restrictions. San Diego group has 93dBA at Qualcomm.

I don't think anyone cares. I see loud ass street cars there all the time.

The measurement is taken at 50 feet away......and unless you have a straight pipe without mufflers/cat, I doubt you'd be at 120 db at that distance. With any semblance of a muffler, you would be somewhere near 95 db I'd estimate.

And, I'm not sure if they use a sound meter all the time or not, but the rule is enforced. At San Diego it is there every event.
