Best place to get fix it ticket sign off?

I recently got a no current sticker tag ticket.

It looks like it could be a fix it ticket.

Doesnt say not correctable.

It said it can be signed off by either CHP or Sherrif department.

I have tint on my windows and I dont want to get another fix it ticket.

Where is a good place to get it signed off?

Thanks everyone..!!

last time i went to sheriff and paid $15 for signing off the ticket, and then $25 for the court fee. :thumbdn:

If you have OC Sheriff sign it off they will charge you a service fee to get it signed off.

CHP will simply sign it off for you and no fee added. You might get lucky on the street by a Deputy but most will now tell you to head over to a department because Deputies are no longer allowed to sign them off.

Did they come outside to inspect your car?

I dont want them to see the tint and give me a ticket.

I was wondering if I can just show them my registeration and get it signed off.

Thanks a lot guys, you guys giving great info.

Try going to a station within your city of residence. Due to the economy, alot of them will sign off and waive the $15 fee for its residents. I know for a fact that Buena Park does, for example.

damnn..last time i got a "No Plate" ticket..i got pulled over a CHP

well i went to go pay it off..they made me pay 20 bucks at the police station and get it signed off..but right after they made me go to the court house..and made me pay another 25 bucks cuz it was a CHP that pulled me over..so i had to pay a total of 45 bucks just for a fix-it-ticket...

i dunno if this helps..but just throwing in my experience
