Dead Battery Over & Over again.
The OEM battery I got with the car back in 2002 was replaced 8 months into it with an Optima Yellow Top. I replaced that this Febuary with a Kirkland from Costco and replaced it again today. The 3rd battery I got died 3 times this week. This crap happens every couple of months or so.
I have a Clifford alarm system, 2 10w3 subs in the back, an alpine deck and different speakers. I wouldn't think that these would cause the battery to die so often though. Any suggestions? Will Honda check the car for draws etc? Thanks.

Does ur SUB/AMP setup have a capacitor? Or does it draw power straight from the battery?

Hey Souljah6476, that post might help you out-- I may be wrong about the cap. but it still looks like the cap. may be a good idea to have installed. It could save some life on your alternator (Could even possibly be the alternator?).
Hope this helps!

You just need someone who knows how to use a voltmeter check various spots in your electrical system when the car is off. The stock alternator, the Optima Yellow, and the cap should all be fine in an S2000. I have 1,000 wRMS with a yellow top and alarm with proximity sensor and have virtually no power problems and certainly never had a dead battery. In short, it's not normal for your setup to have this problem -- there's got to be faulty wiring or parts here.
