that sucks. He even tried to find an open parking space for her to practice on..

man that sucks But I don't really think it's the dad's fault. I mean, yes, his daughter was under age, but only by a few months. And he was teaching her in a relatively safe environment. I mean who wasn't allowed to take the car for a little spin in an empty parking lot before they had their permit? It just sounds like a horribly tragic accident. Although how the daughter managed to hold her foot down on the accelerator for long enough to exit the parking lot, cross a street, jump a curb, and hit someone standing in their front yard is beyond me.

as sad as that is , i think its even sadder if the family decides to take on a civil case. but, this is america the most litigious society on earth...

That's what panic will do to you. I've seen a friend of mine who never ridden a scooter panic with the throttle go off the street onto the curb and smack right into a cement wall..... It was ugly...

I thought you were allow to learn how to drive when a kid is 15. Did they change the law?
