Fastest Ride of My Life
Well I know this has nothing to do with the S2000 but we are all car nuts so I know this will be appreciated. About 630 tonight I was sitting in my room playing around on the best website ever (hint its this one) and I hear some insanely loud car idling in front of my house and about 10 seconds later I hear my doorbell ring. As I open the door I see this family friend with a smile on his face from ear to ear. So he tells me to come outside which I do and what do I see an ORIGINAL 1967 Shelby Cobra sitting in my drive way. Well by now I have the huge smile on my face just looking at it and he then asks if I want to go for a ride. Well of course there is no way I could turn that down. So I have to step over this boiling hot exhaust pipe and climb down into the seat which was so uncomfortable but who cares right. So he fires this beast up and we take off. Well let me tell you I have never been in a car with so much torque and just raw power you cant help but smile. Anyways we drove around the block a couple of times and this car was turning peoples heads like no other. He got on it just a little bit because he just picked it up today from his brother who just passed away and left it to him in his will, and wasnt sure how to drive it and it just slammed you back in your seat like you had a brick to the chest. Well guys sorry for the extremly long post but I still have this huge smile on my face and wanted you all to experience this with me.

I thought an authentic (not kit car) shelby cobra was worth $250K to $450K. Am I mistaking the shelby models like the original mustang shelby?
If I'm correct, why was this dude driving it on the street?

if it is that bad to drive a 200-300 or 400k car, then f-40, f-50 or enzo owners would never drive those either :-)
