Asking Price: ONLY $24,000!!
$12K alone was spent on the motor. I've ridden in this car and it is absolutely a monster. It blows his 996 Turbo out of the water.

I have since put the regular plate on the front to curb an excuse for a nice police officer to stop and talk to me.
This is the front clip from the 1999 factory RX-7 as well as the wing - direct from Japan. Also, this pic of the front is BEFORE the transformation. The front is now gaping with a rather large intercooler and screen.
This car comes with lots of extras too.
Serious buyers only. We will be picky on who we consider for our baby's home. We have over $45k in parts and labor as well as the cost of the car. The only nits on the car are the seats and the turbo. The turbo is rather small and can easily take a T04S or "R". Boost comes on right now around 2200-2500 rpm. This car has never been drag raced. The motor is built to spin to a 9k redline. However, right now, the turbo does not have enough air to make power above 8200 rpms.
During XS-Engineerings tuning on the dyno, the car is capable of a 11.4-11.6 1/4 mile times. All I know is when the RPM reachs 4k rpms in any gear - hang on and keep it straight! Just think about how the car will perform with a little large turbo. Pete and Koji think the motor will generate around 440-460 rwhp with a larger turbo and still be very drivable. Leaving it alone would be quite nice as well.
regards
Rick
