Glad I didn't buy an IS-300...
 

Recently I went home to San Diego for about a week, and I suddenly noticed the huge explosion of IS-300 ( aka: the new "'Civic" wannabe") running around. I mean just on the way home, I saw about 4 to 6 IS-300's running around, has anyone else noticed this phenomenom? or is it just me?...and can you guess how many S2000's I saw? nary a single one!!!:D

I was very, very close into buying the Lexus IS300 when it first came out in the U.S. but after driving it, I didn't feel like it was worth that kind of money compared to the S2000. These days with all of the Altezza lights and mods kids put into the Honda Civic, its very hard to tell the difference between these two cars at night or day. After previously owning and crashing my 97 Lexus LS400 several years ago and 99 Acura RL just last year, I'm used to bigger cars and wouldn't buy a 4dr that small unless its a 2dr.:) Just my opinion!

Th IS-300 recently won its class at the SCCA Nationals Auto-X so I'm impressed. Sure the driver had to be good but he had serious competition. An automatic? At an Auto-X. Who'd a thought?

i wish i had driven the s2k before i bought an is300 last year...ended up selling it and buy my yellow four months later.

they are poop. I crashed an is300 meet a while back haha

wow, you must be loaded to crash an IS-300 and think nothing of it.:p
