but I don't think that's their philosophy. Time to redefine.
I will consider it a failure if doesn't post one of the top times at the 'Ring. Especially because it will most likely carry a $100,000+ price tag.
In other news,

Honda will do a great job. They did it before with the NSX but the competition is pretty stiff compared to the late 1980s and early 90s. The trump card Honda has is the new SH-AWD and the opportunity to build it light. For the price point it has to compete with the Porsche 911, Nissan GTR, Corvette Z06, Audi R8, and possibly the new BMW M6. I hope they get their engine right. They need a hell of a V6 that can produce at least 400hp and combine it with their hybrid system.

Yes, the competition is real stiff.
I highly doubt 400hp will be enough. Have you seen the numbers the new Carrera S is putting out for under $100,000?
400 hp @ 7,400 rpm
0-60 mph: 4.3 s
Top Track Speed: 188 mph
MSRP $ 96,400.00
This thing is faster than an R8 around any track for much cheaper. A 400hp NSX will only be a success if released well under $100,000.
