OEM sway bars are designed to work with the oem suspension to give just the right amount of roll. With a stiffer/bigger sway bar you may overload the shock and spring since the roll is being minimized. With different valving and stiffer springs it can hold no problem but with OEM suspension it was never designed to work at that level and you may wear them out faster than usual.
