Help!! Shopping for S2000 white exterior red interior
Hello,
I'm shopping and very interested to purchase S2000 white exterior, red interior, preferably low mileage and of course very reasonable and affordable price. I have $12,000 in hand and probably could squeeze a little more if it is reasonable but would like to avoid financing.
Please help me!!!!!
Thanks,
Bea

Complete red interior is incredibly rare. Recently, the interior itself in good condition sold for $2k.
$12k can buy you a nice ap1 with some mileage.
As the other poster said, good luck lol

$12,000 will get you a hooptie S2000, nothing more. Maybe white but not with an all red interior as these are so rare they command stupid prices. Low mileage S2000s are running above $22K the past 4 or 5 years so your budget ain't there.

It is my understanding the 2002 MY was the ONLY year GPW with an entirely red interior was released. According to an acquaintance an older gentleman in Utah recently (July?) sold his GPW 2002 with 16,000+ miles for $27,000. It did have an OEM matching hardtop though. As others have mentioned good luck in your search.

^Correct. See production numbers here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=729838
For '00-'01, "Red" interior meant red carpets, two-tone doors, and black dash and trim (roll hoops, rear plastics).
For '02, "Red" meant ALL red, including almost all plastics except for center console, door handles, and steering wheel & instrument binnacle.
For '07, "Red/Black" meant red carpet, two-tone seats & doors, black dash & trim.
For '08-'09, "Red" meant red seats & carpet, two-tone doors, black dash & trim.
Note that only 4,684 GPW cars were made across all model years (for the U.S.), and just over half of those had either tan ('03-'05), black ('06), or black/yellow ('08-'09 CR) interiors. So you might want to look for *any* GPW car, and then try to piece together a red interior from the used market.
