Hey guys! I just want to extend a helping hand for those who are in search for a job in the Aerospace industry. My company "Alliance Spacesystems" is hiring the following positions:

Buyer / Inventory/ Shipping Clerk

Location: Pasadena

Essential Job Functions:

It is the clerk’s responsibility to place PO's and track their status, acknowledge and distribute all incoming packages in a timely manner and be responsible for all inventory and project kitting functions for the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Convert approved Purchase Requests into Alliance PO's.
• Receive all delivered packages and merchandise. When required, assist - with forklift if necessary - the unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Acknowledge the receipt of all delivered packages and distribute all packages tovarious
locations in the facility.
• Process and ship product, equipment and miscellaneous items as instructed by
requester. Determine best-way for delivery whether international or stateside.
• Log/check-in appropriate items into our inventory system and maintain organized
storage.
• Check-out and kit/distribute requested inventory items.
• Perform periodic internal audits of inventory items.
• Read and understand the Bill of Materials on Alliance Drawings
• Contribute as required to accomplish related tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma / GED equivalent required
• Machinist background helpful
• Minimum 4 years experience in a purchasing role
• Forklift operation experience also required
• Exposure to an established and maintained inventory system a plus
• Familiarity with UPS and Fed-Ex shipping procedures
• Familiarity with international shipping a plus
• Limited understanding of aerospace drawings required
• Be ability to read, write and converse in English


General Administrative Assistant

Location: Los Alamitos

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the quality scheduling and tracking spreadsheet
• Configure material acceptance packages and properly tag/identify components and
materials
• Review and create required quality documents
• Make and distribute copies
• Contact vendors for certifications and/or clarifications
• Request order of supplies
• Filing of quality documents
• General support to entire Quality Department
• Assist quality lead in AP issues. Purchase parts, equipment and materials by preparing
and submitting purchase order requisitions
• Support incoming material receiving process
• Maintain minimum-maximum inventory levels and reorder quantities
• Deliver parts, equipment and materials to locations by arranging shipping
• Able to solve shipment quality discrepancies by mediating vendor/manufacturing issues
• Provide parts, equipment and materials information by answering questions and requests
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

• Strong verbal communication

Quality Clerk

• Work with engineering and production planning to ensure quality requirements are fulfilled
• Will lead internal AS9100 audit activities
• Perform required inspection activities
• Perform source inspection at local subcontractors
• Accurately document the results of inspections, verifications, validations and testing
• Witness and verify compliance to complex assembly procedures including mechanical assembly, machining, composites, etc…
• Verification of inspection or test data provided with incoming materials
• Drawing review and sign-off
• Perform “Root Cause Analysis” and documentation activities
• Maintain NCR/CPAR database.
• Responsible for the assembly of end item data packages as required.
• Schedule source inspections when hardware is complete.
• Interface with customer source inspectors to ensure final shipping documentation is correct.
• Mentor/train other personnel associated with quality
• Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
• Develop and document inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists
• Participate in the maintenance and/or revision of AS9100 processes across the entire organization

Job requirements:

Senior Structures Engineer:

Location: Los Alamitos

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sr. Structures engineer works as part of a diverse team that may span several divisions. The engineer is involved in projects from the initial bidding phase through final delivery and interfaces with the customer on a regular basis. The engineer typically is responsible for a major segment of a project and must manage budget and schedule accordingly. It is also typical to have multiple projects of varying size and scope being worked concurrently. This position requires an engineer that is organized and efficient.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design and analyze flight structure
• Lead project team efforts and interface with customer
• Work on bid and proposal teams
• Supervise other engineers

• 15 years of experience with space flight structures
