Hey guys just wanted to give a write up for the hks dual + test pipe. First off i was unsure about putting the test pipe on my daily driver scared of those damn cops but i did it anyways. Results sound is frickin awesome!!!!! My main concern was how loud it would be, the sound is controllable and tolerable. Cruising speeds is perfect not loud but when you get on that gas be prepared for a beautiful roooaaarrrr!!!! Also i raced my buddys stock sti for giggles and we were neck and neck (3 runs by the way ) I was very happy with that result (sti owner wasnt too happy based on the fact he used to pull on me ) So for those of you out there who have the hks dual wondering about the test pipe its all good bro cops wouldnt have a clue

You should have done a before and after dyno. When you raced your friends STi, was it from a dig or rolling?

I know just wut I thought after the sti kill. The races we're all rolling start n 1st gear right before vtec poor sti those r the only mods I got hks+tp

Just wait until you get a 63mm tp with single exhaust, EVEN better and much louder

Believe it or not, I had two officers tell me how good it sounded when I pulled in at parked at a local convenience store. I thought I was SCREWED when I saw them standing next to my S. Oh btw I have the BuddyClub header

Test pipes don't make your car that much louder anyways. Glad you're happy with your setup.

If you ever think your car is too loud, ask someone with a 70mm straight piped to give you a ride. You won't even notice you have an exhaust afterwards.

does having a TP make that much of a difference in power gain?
i have a rs-r header and a custom single exhaust, how much of a difference would it be with a 63mm /or a 70mm TP?

How is it a kill if you guys were neck and neck as you stated above?

And really, if you didn't get tuned after the mods I doubt you made much power at all. Mostly just nice sounds.

Not much. 2-3 whp if that? You do lose a nice amount of weight though.

LOL (i see you have sti?) your right it wasnt a kill i stand corrected but with header cold air intake and tune pretty sure it would be a kill
