welli bought hondata off a guy got everything the kpro n duel harness apt .... but i just need to get my stock ecu reflashed ... the guy whos gonna tune my car said i dont have to but on hondata web site it says it needs to b reflashed to it would work

So you dont trust your tuner, but you're having him tune your car? PM Ultimate lurker (not sure if its one or two words) He should be able to help you or just have him tune your car

i think the biggest thing with the reflash is the rev limit increase.

I was told that hondata needed to add a resistor to the stock ecu in order for it to work with the dual ECU.. is this wrong?

After the resistor was added to my car.. i was told not to drive the car without the rsx ecu. ill confirm with HOndata tomarrow.

like i said.. its not a reflash per say, i think they deactivate something in the ECU to allow the second ecu control the things it controls.

yea i talked to hondata and they didnt really help i always hear bad things about church
