I'm in the same situation as you. I think first, you have to know the market value as well as what you can get for it. Forest Lawn will buy it back from you - but at 45% BELOW market value. There are brokers who will sell your property for around 15% of the total sale. There is this one other site where all you do is register what you have - it's a one-time fee of $90 then they'll list your property for 1 year and match you up with their clients who are looking to buy. From what I've seen, but I'm not 100$% sure on this but my mom bought a niche in about 1980 or close and despite the market value at $"X", if one were to buy the same thing today directly from Forest Lawn, they'd pay at least double. Still have to verify that one. Anyhow, good luck to you. By the way, I was a very stupid girl and bought a n''84 Honda Shadow 700cc for a boyfriend who turned out to be one of the most unreliable assholes i've ever known. He had it running at one point but he tore it apart again and it hasn't run since. Anyhow, I'm stuck with this bike now. I paid $500 for it plus I bought a bunch of parts for it too. Know anyone that might be interested in it for say.... $400?
