I was in exactly same situation where I had suspended license and got pulled over. they impounded my car but somehow I was able to pull it off the yard within 3 days when it's supposed to be held in the yard for 30 days. It was long time ago so I don't remember what I did before I got the car back from the yard.

Got an FTA and probably a suspended coming shortly LOL. Just need to take some time off and get it handled, very minor fix it ticket......dumb.
