Boeing is already giving 1 year notice for laysoffs... 15% of the force by the end of the year. Some of the Defense industries will help make our unemployment rates from 8.5% to 11% in the next few years.

Rumor has it.. Peir 1, William Sonoma, Nortel, is going bankrupt too..

Don't be scared to invest though. Just be wise about it. I have family members making good returns in the Forex.

I'm looking into buying my next two houses though. I'm buying one with an FHA loan and another with a conventional loan. Interest rates are good and rents are high.
