July 4th @ Downtown Disney
Thinking about going to Downtown Disney to eat dinner and watch fireworks for July 4th. Anyone been there for this event that can chime in and let me know what to expect? Meaning, how early should i get there to avoid mayhem and actually find a parking spot? Is it even worth it, or is it just too crowded to have a good time? etc.

TOO CROWDED. STAY AWAY. If you try getting there anytime in the afternoon-evening, you'll be in traffic for atleast an hour. After that, there will be no parking and if you do find parking, it is way too crowded.
I left around 4 pm couple years ago, and i was stuck in traffic for maybe 2 hours and then had to go home because of no parking.

^^thank you, that's the kind of feedback i was looking for. I hate crowds!! I don't mind going early and waiting for the fireworks since there are a lot of stores to browse, but i don't want to wait there forever!! I'll have to find another place to go.

It's cool there, I think the best place I have been for the 4th is Newport Beach, they block off all the roads, they have the largest fireworks display and a lot of people hanging out getting drunk and partying.
Don't know who you plan on going with but if your single there are a lot of girls there too.
