Is that the source of the leak, or is that where the leak is pooling?

Is there anything leaking around the cap?

Its not leaking around the cap. Its coming from that side of the radiator. Its where the tiny fins connect to the upper part of the radiator. It looks like they do offer a warranty to the original purchaser. I bought it years ago new but from a person on craigslist. Wish I could go through warranty

Pics would help and only to the original owner? Mishimoto gives warranty on the rad not the buyer. Weird

i believe my Koyo is leaking in this same exact spot. Been trying to figure out where my leak is for a long time now since i always smell coolant when i drive. Finally used a mirror to peak in there and it seems to be the same area--where the vertical radiator flow tubes meet the upper tank, right below the cap.

There's a slight chance it was leaking out of the upper hose and running down to where the flow tube meets the tank, so i tightened my hose clamp up and just need to drive the car more to see where i find dried coolant. Once i do more testing to confirm the source of the leak, I may contact Koyo for warranty. I'll ask if there was any known manufacturer defect in a certain batch or something...

FYI, if warranty doesn't end up working out and you just want it repaired, you can try Radiator Depot in Westminster: https://www.yelp.com/biz/radiator-de...e?osq=radiator

I don't know if he's still there but there was a guy there that was able to braze aluminum radiators and fixed my old Koyo on my integra about 10 years ago. My AC condenser bracket wore a hole in one of the tubes and he closed the hole. Apparently it's not common knowledge or a common skill so i was referred to him and it held up fine for years after.
