Motorcycle dealer hookups/shop reccomendation
Looking to get into another sports bike. Does anyone here have a hookup at a dealer or recommend a place to shop for one? Not looking at anything in particular...

Bert's is Terrible, Chaparral is even worse.
Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside is a pretty honest shop, I worked there a couple years, honestly I found it quite fair. Run into any problems ask for Malcolm himself, a 7 time baja 1000 winner and a down to earth good guy, tell him you're a friend of Greg who used to work there a few years ago, he'll know, he's the only 80 year old man to drive my car so hard I was gonna shit myself. lol
Danny is the sales manager there, he's been there for years, he's a nice guy tell him you could really use a good deal he'll do what he can. He doesn't know me well but we got along half decent and he's got a family member I was good friends with, Bret Peterson, a famous hillclimb racer. Can drop either name.

DO NOT GO TO Berts! Don't do it.
I just bought a brand new Triumph Daytona 675. I highly recommend LA Triumph if your looking for that or anything Triumph ( *cough* Street Triple R *cough* ). I was holding out for the MV Agusta F3, but the reoccurring delays and increasing price put me off, especially when you consider that the Daytona is actually the better all around bike.
If youre looking for the jap bikes from the big 4, a lot of dealers have left over 2011 stock still. you can look at cycletrader.com to get an idea of what's out there. Lots of deals on 2011 stock to move it off the floor. I know huntington beach honda is/was pushing brand new 2011 CBR 600rr old stock for $9,500 starting price vs. the $11,600 msrp.
if your looking for cruiser or touring, similar deals are out there. right now is a good time to buy 2011 or even 2010 bikes at the dealer.
