Motorgen Malbiu Run - October 14, 2012
Meet from 10:30, roll from 11:30, end up at Neptune's Net around 1:00.
Here's the route. You can take a pretty large number of optional routes from A to B. This is the one I'll be taking. Relatively simple, yet fun. Here's some video from last time out. Mulholland - March 13, 2011 - YouTube |
You must know the roads well. You picked the best route imo.
 |
I used the force. :) I picked what I would want and think works well for pretty much everyone, but there's a bunch of variations to take between A and B for anyone who wants to.
|
Yes, there are tons of different routes to get to Neptunes. One of my favs is Las Flores although the road is in dire need of some re paving....
|
that's the standard route i always take too. I usually loop back to pch south and head back up latiago canyon as well; take that back to muholland and take muholland all the way out to the end and on into Neptunes.

I love doing that drive... Too bad I'll be in NOLA for a conference that weekend

Bump.
Here's a link of pics from the last Malibu run. http://s1171.beta.photobucket.com/us...011?view=media |
Looks like a nice drive. Any idea of the anticipated turn out for this run next weekend?
I hope gas prices are back to "normal" by then. I've pretty much parked my S until things stabilize in that regard. I take my Yaris if I have to go out for anything now. Posted via mobile. sorry about any typos. :-( dyac.com is like my life story. |
It's hard to guess, but I'd say a 30+ heavily mixed is reasonable. As for gas . . probably will still be brutal.

48hour(ish) bump. This Sunday is looking sunny and warm.
