Default mugen exhaust

AnywAys my mugen is loud arond 3 to 4k rpm is this normal on the other hand I'm running a test pipe.

On certain days its too quite just a little louder than stock and most of the time its really loud is this normal?

Driving at low rpm drones a lot also is this normal?

There is a difference in sound between the AP1 and AP2 Mugen exhaust. AP2 is a bit "deeper" in tone, but there should be no drone.

ok..... your sayin no drone AT ALL.....

my experience is all exhaust has drone, and some has more then others, my Nvidia with a test pipe +turbo has a fair ammount, less then without turbo of course but still quite a bit.

Also consider TEST PIPE. When you say non at all are you then talking about a test pipe? Perhaps thats the single difference we are talking about here?

however it's being described as intermittent.... and that's the most concerning factor IMO. Temp related I wonder? Or something else?

I have an AP2. When I installed my Mugen Dual I also noticed a drone around 2.5-3k rpm range. After I installed my Berk HFC however the dronning was a lot less.

Yup. Mugen AP1 sounds like stock (pretty much). ASM does too. No drone.

got the ap2 mugen exhaust and it has been great. With the berk HFC & Buddy club header = no drone + cops don't look at me twice.
