It's been about a month now since my truck was denied by a trash truck rolling out of control down my hill. I wasn't even in the car. Their insurance is being a pain to deal with and I'm tired of it. My insurance company is being VERY lame in saying the accident will be recorded onto my insurance record if I file a claim with them even though I was 80 yards away from the car sleeping during the accident. Pretty lame eh? So if anyone knows a lawyer that handles these kinds of cases or if there is anyone here that is a lawyer and deals with this kind of stuff please PM me or post here. The truck has been out of use in terms of it's purpose for over a month now, tail-gate is smashed in.

did you insurance tell you that they will raise your rates if you file it with them? i can see how it will show you filed a claim, but it should not count against you like a speeding ticket.

that should not count against you since it was totally out of your control. it's the same thing as a tree falling on it.

whatever they're saying dump them asap after resolving this, they should be chasing after the trash truck company not you.
