Default need a shop to possibly bore my block

My brother was driving my car w/out my permission and overheated the car (dont ask me how), but still kept on driving it. long story short, i finally got the motor cleaned up and disassembled, but i need to get it honed for sure. I like in Corona, and i guess there's a great shop here that ONLY does honing, so i think they might be the shop of choice for that. But if worse comes to worst and i have to bore it .25 over, anyone know of a good reputable shop i can take my block to?

thanks in advance guys

You can't bore the F20c or F22c. Honing is also very difficult, there are not many places that can hone the FRM sleeves.

i just wanna be sure, cuz i've read a lot of conflicting things about the f20/f22 and the frm sleeves. many saying it can't be doen, but others saying it can be. and that honda sells the oem .025 over pistons/rings. i'm not looking to to do a large displacement overbore, just enuff to fix up the damaged walls.

still wouldn't work?

What page is that on? When I get to work I'll look it up.

I guess you can if the manual says so and honda sells the pistons. All you need is a shop with the know how and willing to do it.

I heard there's a shop in Santa Ana that can do it. Or you can call Laskey and see what they say.

Try looking into the prelude h22 and the nsx motors. Those also have FRM sleeves.

if you have that digital manual, its on 32/1088. if you have the actual physical copy, its 2-4 "Standards and Service Limits"
