Ohh, I needed that!
Oh, what a nice day. After 2 weeks abroad (business in Australia) I got back yesterday.
I let the GF drive in AU (it's her country, and I'd get in an accident in 5 minutes driving on the wrong side of the road).
We went out for breakfast in the S this morning after getting up late due to jet lag. She wanted to look at some appliances in Westlake (we're in Simi) so I said no problem. After looking at some stuff, I asked if she wanted to go for a drive down to the beach. Sure.....
So, Decker Canyon was close, so off we go. She was smiling all the way. Down PCH and a walk along the beach, then to Las Virgenes, up to Mulholland, to the Rock Store, and back to Kanan, then lunch in Thousand Oaks, then home. Nice.
Saw a couple of S2K's who waved back. (Great being part of a really good group). There're were a ton of sports cars on the road today.
I've only got 1500 miles on the new S, and every time out, it amazes me. What a GREAT car. It just does everything I ask of it. I'm not pushing the limits, but it just seems so reassuring to drive. SOOOO FUN!
What a nice day......Man, I neeed that!

Just yesterday a bunch of us took a Decker Canyon run. First time on Decker. Wow what a great road. That run definately lets you love the car even more. I'm right there with you.
