Default Q about storing car for 3 months

I'll probably have to store my s2000 in my garage for 4 months and maybe drive it only twice during that time period.

What do I need to do to my car to prep for storage? Do I just disconnect the battery and put the car on 4 jackstands? Do I need a battery tender device?

Thanks

why the full tank of gas? i dont like leaving my car on stands for long periods of time either. i think i heard that you can just put a big piece of cardboard under each tire and youll be good. that should help prevent the flat spots. if the tires are bad anyways.. who cares.

Jack stands = your springs don't sit there with weight on em. A good practice.

A full tank of gas will loose its octane rating slower and break down slower due to less surface area exposed to air.

This is why I recently topped off Stocky's ride a bit ago. Hopes that it'll prevent the fuel gunking up etc. Then again I run the thing ever few weeks to keep it healthy.

leave it with a full tank so the tank doesn't rust inside.

On the contrary, I think you are intelligent. I figure you probably just didn't think that one through as far as some others. I know these rules about fuel from having boats/jetski/dirtbikes etc.

However, if I have to say you're stupid just for the free rape I'll happily do it.

^ Battery tender is better, but for 3mo I'd think you'd be ok long as you pull the POSITIVE terminal.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to slide a piece of cardboard under the battery too but that's probably overkill.
