Quick question
 

My dell laptop that ive had for 6 years now is acting up on me.. the problem occurs now and then.. so i decided to get a new one.. should i go with the Fujitsu thats discounted on their website for $699 or just get another dell for around $450.. it would be nice to have a made in Japan computer but im only going to use it for internet, school, email, and possibly some other programs like Latex to do math. plz help.. need response soon because im gonna pick it up today. here are the links to the 2 comps im considering.

The Fujitsu will have a noticeably faster processor due to its 2x larger cache. Also, 500 GB would be fantastic to have versus the somewhat small 160 GB. Slightly better battery life as well as 1 GB more ram. The Fujitsu is basically a complete laptop, whereas the Dell is above average that could be slightly be improved upon.

If you think you'll be watching alot of vids and downloading stuff, I would go with the Fujitsu. After having a couple of Dell laptops, I swore I wouldn't ever get one again due to all the small, but frustrating issues I've encountered.

Got a pretty sweet deal on a HP laptop/netbook combo at best buy..glad i got this before summer school sessions. i figure that although the fujitsu is made in Japan. it doesnt mean its that much better than say a Sony or HP. now when it comes to higher end products, than it might matter. nonetheless, im happy with my purchase.

i would check bensbargains.net before buying. I have seen some crazy deals specially when they have coupons online. some coupons can go up to 450 dollars...

just look around for coupons online.

oh Fujitsu got my vote.... but i would go online cause you can find something better and better specs for a lot cheaper....
