yeah, i also tried that. am able to have my laptop recognize my phone, but i dont know how to transfer any files. dont know if they need to be in a specific file format or what?? is it also just a matter of dragging and dropping?

you might want to post what kind of phone you have since different phones use different file formats.
the majority of mid-tier to high-tier phones now-a-days use mp3 ringtones but most are coded and can't be used as a ringtone once you transfer it.

khuzee there is a WAY better way.
www.mobile17.com lets you take the file from your computer and it sends it via a pix message to your phone. its free too!
