Default S2000 driver killed on Angeles Crest Hwy ?

I heard a report of an S2000 being hit head-on by a vehicle crossing the yellow line in the area on Friday July 4th. If it is true may they RIP, I don't now if it was a member or not. Sad part of the report was that the car had the driver side airbag deleted, I don't know if it would have helped but it is an integral part of the S2000 safety system which is really good for a vehicle of its size

Word is, a Honda FIT was going a bit faster than the car/driver could manage, and went over the double yellow, into the side of the S2000.

There's a GoFundMe for the S2000 driver's funneral expenses.

Sad situation all around.
