Default smoothness in shifting?

so i ditched my chucks today and picked up a pair puma speedcats..and i noticed that the way car shifted was a lot smoother than when i drove wearing my chucks...anyone else notice a difference in their driving when wearing different shoes? or is it all in my head? i did notice the sole of the speedcats being much more firmer than the chucks..as the chucks' sole flexed and the the speedcats are much lighter..

i think different shoes have different effects. i notice the difference too. i hate shifting in my leather sole dress shoes. that's probably my least favorite.

Wing tips FTW.

You can depress the brake and the gas...

...at the same time.

Asics ftw. I like thin soled shoes. My shifting is horrible with big shoes on. Haha

I think shoes play a part in your driving. I like to wear chucks or vans slip-on when i drive.
