I work over at a Strategic planning firm in Malibu right now. My work is simple, I am in charge of making sure that everything in the office runs correctly. Whether that be the current projects or basic office duties. My boss however, is an a$$. For those of you who have met me, you have probably realized that I am a pretty melow person, I dont get fed up very much at all. But yesterday my boss yelled at me for the 3rd time over a typo in a paper and screamed at me, "Why the **** can't you get this right??" At the same time his wife walked in the door and looked shocked. Now I could understand if this was an ongoing problem on my behalf. But a typo? And this is not the first time he has yelled at me or become "frusturated" as he likes to put it. This happens once a week atleast.

When I heard him scream this, I thought to ignore it. But then I thought to myself, "Why should I ignore it?" So, I am now considering finding a different job.

Which brings me to you guys and girls. If any of you know of a job opening in any area. Please let me know. I am currently attaining my MBA and FP courses for certification. But I am not limiting myself to that. I would love a job where I could learn more about cars and how to build and unbuild them aswell.

I am not in financial stress. I am mostly looking for a distraction while I go to school and something that I can pay some of my bills with.


I would appreciate your input and support. Perhaps I am over reacting?

i quit a job just about 2 yrs ago for the exact same reason. mgr called from cell jus to bitch me out over a stupid "correctable" typo. i answered with: don't worry about, i'll fix it.

after i fixed it, i walked out. haven't looked back since. i feel SO much better everyday going to work now. it's not even funny.
