Default Top replacement recs? LA

Forgive me if I missed it but I searched the forum, Google, and Yelp and am looking for someone to replace the convertible top on my 2003. I read through the write-up and I'm handy, I could probably do it myself successfully but it looks complicated enough that it looks like someone who's already done it a few times will get better results. Any recommendations? I'm in Torrance near the 110 and 405 but I'm willing to drive for someone with a good rep and experience.

Hey @tcl I can't vouch for a top replacement experience specifically but I would bet that Evasive Motorsports in Santa Fe Springs (Evasive Motorsports | Aftermarket Performance Parts & Accessories) should be able to take care of you

I just had them install swift spec r lowering springs and roll my fenders/relocate rear bumper tab for my 2003 AP1 and they did phenomenal work.

Hit up Mazdaspeed00 in the forums. Alan Lee in Orange does great work/soft top replacements.

I've contacted Evasive last year, they no longer do soft top replacements. Unless they started doing it again recently.

I had a great experience having the top on my Miata replaced at Auto Upholstery by AJ in Northridge.

Thanks everyone for your recommendations, it's much appreciated! After speaking with Alan, I'm very optimistic that he's the right fit for me - I feel better knowing the person who will actually do the work rather than hiring a "shop" and I know Alan is experienced. He's also been a pleasure to work with thus far... enough so that he helped me nail down which top I want and I sent him the deposit. I'll let y'all know how it goes, but right now, I expect very good things.
