Parts and labor, 1600 for the OEM top. 1350 for Robbins. For two people for 6+ hours work, seems very reasonable to me.

Default soft top build process

Thank you everyone for the kind words and thank you TCL for letting me earn your business. I will be installing his OEM blue top this Tuesday but I thought I would post pictures of his built soft top to anyone who wants to know the level of detail I put into each top I build.

I have been building soft tops for many years for the SoCal community. I have a custom table built for this specific purpose. The pic below shows TCL soft top frame completely stripped.

Next is all the old residue that gets stripped off with a 3M eraser wheel. I don't just leave it on and throw double sided cloth tape over it

I go over the entire frame and sand down any areas if necessary that may accelerate soft top wear.

There are areas where the factory uses minimal protection against the soft top so I add more protection in various areas with felt tape and increase the protection area.

Here is the finished product. A beautiful OEM blue top that looks great on Suzuka, Laguna blue, GPW, and silver colored s2000s.

Here is another shot of a "stayfast" Robbins soft top I built and installed on another clients car the same day.
