With uehara-San gone, I don't see Honda coming back to any real type of sports car. With the way the car economy is, they'll keep playing it safe with ball-less sports compacts and hybrids to keep the hippies happy.

Since soichiro passed manny years ago compromise has slowly moved in.
The "EG" is the last car he was involved with and ever since it's become more and more watered down.

unless the founder's son / grandson / etc with some balls take control of Honda, we'll never see another real sports car from this company again..
