Default VSA help!

Changed battery and VSA light came on. Repair shop tried "reset". Said Honda Diagnostic Procedure recommends ABS modulator be replaced. Part cost = $2,672.08. Does anyone have an alternative???

(Grasping at straws) Tried resetting the ECU by disconnecting the ECU fuse? Stranger fixes have happened.

I disconnected the battery hoping a reboot might fix it, it didn't. May try the fuse, worth a try. Thanks.
