What Can You Tell Me About Getting An Alignment?

Hi All,

Since my baby was in a little accident, I'm assuming that I'll need/should get an alignment when she gets out of the shop. Is this a good idea? Secondly, if I do need an alignment, where should I go and how much will it cost? I'd like to get an alignment that provides my car minimal tire wear, but improves road feel. Is this possible? Any alignment related info would be much appreciated as I'm by no means an expert on this topic. Thanks everyone!

Jim

Thanks for those references, guys. So when I take it to the shop, do I just tell them the type of alignment I want and they'll take care of everything else or do I need to go in there with specific numbers that I want the car to be aligned to? Sorry for the noob-like questions? Never gotten an alignment. :banghead:
