when is the next s2000 home coming?

I wasn't around for the first one (2007, I think) but I did attend HHII in 2010. That was headed up by BackCracker here on the forum. It was a huge undertaking and, if I recall correctly, his comments after were that he would never be doing it again!
While Honda corporate was involved in that they provided location, a bunch of support, and some great cars from their collection, the entire event was almost single-handedly spearheaded by BC. He had a lot of volunteers and good friends involved in the process, but he's really the guy who made it all happen. He's not a Honda employee or anything. He's just an S2000 enthusiast who got a wild hair and decided to take on putting together such a monumental event.
Just look up the old threads on it and you'll see who the major players were in 2010.

After the amount of work put in to HCII, I'm still mentally recuperating today.
Do I miss HC1 and HC2? I been staring at my 10' HC banner for the past 3 years in my garage.
I am constantly reminded of the signature on my dash, and his rare gift he gave to me at the event.
I miss the faces, and enthusiasm upon crossing the gates to campus.
I do want to see old friends again, and the revival of the of the S2000:
“Please take good care of your S2000, keep it by your side for long and enjoy it from the bottom of your heart. And share the quality and legacy of the S2000 with many friends so that the legend of the S2000 will continue for long” – Shigeru Uehara.

Thanks BC. I hope for another HH, but I wouldn't dream of pressing for it since I understand the level of work it requires to put such a thing together. And unless I figure to volunteer, I feel I have no room to ever press anyone for anything when they too would be doing the job gratis.

i would LOVE to go to one if it happened. I remember back then when hc1 started and really regret not having a s2k back then. the amount of people and s2000 was RIDICULOUS!
