So yeah I get to drive the new 645I BMW, SMG this week. Also get to drive the new 760, the new X3, just to name a few...

(No I am not a troll, it is actually the hand built prototype 645I, all the Nav controls are in German!!!)


PS. - The 760 is SICK, so fast with just so much torque, really made me want one.

PPS. - I would take my S over the Z4 3.0 any day, just wasn't the same.

 

I may not be back on til Saturday since I am about 3000 miles from home and this half hour of computer time is costing me ten bucks.

I'm interested in the SMG. Were low gear shifts quirky? I'd like to see an improvement to the 1st gear jerkiness of the SMG tranny.

How did you or are you getting to drive the 645Ci.... I have had a deposit on one for three months and have been told that I won't even get to look at one until at least March or April?

derryck have you seen the newer pictures on roadfly from the shopping mall that they placed the car at.

I was thinking of it as the only real replacement for my 850 that BMW is going to make within the next 5 years or so. Depending on where they put the price of the car I coule see myself getting one in a few years.

I wish the 645i looked more like the 850i (especially the trunk)

 

We shall see, I have seen pictures of a development model of what was called the 8 series in the pictures, looked almost like a S7, very low slung lots of m1 influence.

Compny I work for just got bought out so some cash wil be comming m way, the 6 series is looking like it could happen but not for at least another 6 months.
