Default 2008 M3 cabriolet

I'm a big fan of the 335i coupe.

Was worried that the cabriolet would be heavy and slow.

Now there's the rumor of the next M3 having a hardtop vert option.

That's a pretty nice all around package!

That's the first set of cabrio pics that make it look kinda stubby. All the other ones i've seen make it look long.

Anyone else think the front looks sloped really far down?

Proportions look great. Hands down the best of the "sedan" folding hardtops. It almost looks to me that there is no way that roof is gonna fit folded back there, as the rear looks like it tapers too much. Well done. The rear proportions of the other "sedan" folding hardtops, G6, S40, Sebring, and Eos, always look bloated to me.

The E46 M3 cabriolet weighs 3,781lb according to BMW's website:

With a retractable hardtop and a V8 under the hood, I don't think the new car will come in at much under 4,000lb.

An M3 Cabriolet will be at least 60k IMO. But when i trade in my S, it'll be a next-gen or a BMW. Bimmers //M division shoots to kill. But u gotta pay to play.

I think the M3 Cab will be closer to 67k. They will probably put a $8k premium on the cabs over the hardtops. I agree with you about the appeal of the M cars. They do a good job with them. If Acura would just get their thumbs outta their *ss and start producing luxury performance.
